Here at the Nicotine Dependence Center we enjoy connecting with our current and past learners and consider you part of our professional family.
We have enjoyed a full year of educational activities in 2023 including:
- Many Tobacco Treatment Specialist trainings including our first 2 hybrid courses (one in Rochester and one in Phoenix)
- Our first 2-day Motivational Interviewing course in many years – which was our first ever 2-day virtual MI training
- A series of spring and fall webinars
- Numerous other customized educational sessions
- A vibrant and robust annual conference which was our 30th annual and the first one held outside of Rochester – in lovely Phoenix, Arizona
We strive to deliver the highest quality educational offerings and are very appreciative of you showing your support of our efforts through your attendance and inquiries.
As part of these efforts, we have made the decision to take a hiatus from holding our NDC conference in 2024, but plan to be back with a new and exciting conference in the Spring of 2025. Watch your emails and our website https://ndceducation.mayo.edu for more information.
